Republic Day is one of three Indian national holidays and it commemorates the enactment of the constitution of India, which occurred on January 26, 1950. India had achieved independence from Britain on August 15 1947, but for its first three years the country remained governed largely by the colonial Government of India Act of 1935.
To commemorate the spirit of independent and individual India, Republic Day is celebrated. India declared itself a Sovereign, Democratic and Republic state. This day is celebrated with great fervor in all parts of the county.
With faith in our hearts and independence in our thoughts, let’s salute the Nation.
On 73rd Republic Day, Presidium School, Rohtak wishes you a Happy Republic Day.
